We are focused on our responsibilities to those who work for and with us.
The men and women who work across our operations—at sea, in processing facilities, and in our offices—are essential to our success.
We pay all employees a fair wage and provide safe, respectful working environments.
Our employment practices meet or exceed all local labor laws and industry standards.
We believe in treating every team member with dignity and ensuring their contributions are valued and protected.
Our focus on social responsibility is an important component of our A.R.T.S; deeply held values encompassing our “Passion for Seafood and Commitment to Excellence.” To learn more, visit our values page:
Further, we voluntarily submit our processing facilities and fishing vessels to third-party audits designed to verify our claims. These audits are distributed to our customers, as well as reviewed by our management team. The audit results supplement our efforts of continuous improvement and uphold the advancement of human rights and personal dignity of all our employees. This is true of both Norpac employees and our suppliers. Additionally, our seafood suppliers are also subject to these third-party audits for both food safety and employee practices. We put forth great effort to verify that all our supply chain involves only legal labor at fair and legal wages. If we cannot verify this, we do not buy, it’s that straightforward.
